Why is there a $15 charge or hold on my card?
Our unattended payment terminals place a temporary $15 pre-authorization hold to confirm your card is valid before your wash. This is NOT your final charge. After your wash, the hold is released and only the actual amount you spent is charged. Depending on your bank, the temporary hold can take a little time to drop off.
The terminal shows $15 but I only wanted a smaller wash. Did I overpay?
No. The $15 is only a pre-authorization hold, not the amount charged. Stop before assuming you were overcharged — the hold is released and you are only billed for what you actually used. If you want to confirm the final amount, you can pull up a digital receipt, and you can always text us about any charge.
How do I get a receipt?
You can access a digital receipt online anytime through our receipt portal. Receipts may not be available until approximately two hours after your purchase, so please allow a little time before checking.
I had a problem with a wash, the equipment, or a charge. What should I do?
Text Gilbert's Car Wash and we'll help. Texting is the fastest way to reach us about a wash issue, equipment problem, or a charge on your card. Include your location and what happened, and we'll get back to you.
How do I manage or cancel my EverWash membership?
EverWash memberships are managed by EverWash, not at the wash. For anything about your membership — billing, updating your card, or cancelling — contact EverWash support directly at 215-618-8808 or support@everwash.com.
Do you offer monthly wash memberships?
Yes. We offer EverWash unlimited automatic-wash memberships for one flat monthly price, plus self-serve time memberships that give you a set amount of self-serve wash time each day. Free vacuums are included with every membership.
Where are your locations?
We have two Texas locations: Victoria, TX at 1901 Houston Hwy, and Dickinson, TX at 3514 Lobit Dr. See the Locations page for directions to each.
How do I stop receiving text messages from Gilbert's Car Wash?
Reply STOP to any text message from us at any time to opt out. You can reply HELP for help. Our text messages are service and transactional only — we do not send marketing texts.
